Job Summary:
Join Baltimore Fabrication, an Affiliate of SteelFab Inc., as a Production Engineer Intern and immerse yourself in the dynamic world of production management. This role offers an unparalleled opportunity to collaborate with our Production and Project Management teams on a variety of high-impact projects. You'll be at the forefront of the industry, honing your skills and gaining invaluable experience through hands-on involvement in essential tasks, including:
Key Responsibilities:
● Collaboration: Engage with the project manager department to gather project
information for upcoming fabrication.
● Drawing Analysis: Review and analyze drawings to ensure alignment with project
specifications and internal processes.
● Material and Labor Take-Offs: Utilize company software to perform detailed material
and labor take-offs.
● Scheduling: Assist in schedule coordination and development with plant managers and
project managers.
● Fabrication Coordination: Assist in coordinating fabrication drawings and reports as well
as work performed in the shop.
● Field Issue Resolution: Work with onsite subcontractors to identify and resolve field
issues.
● Fabrication Shop Experience: Gain hands-on experience with the fabrication flow and
production processes, deepening your understanding of the entire construction lifecycle.

Qualifications and Requirements
Major: Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields.
Required: Microsoft Office experience, common computer skills. Valid driver’s license.
Preferred: Some experience in the construction or engineering industry through work, internships, or part-time employment.
